Question:
How Can I Make It Smell Better Down There ? I Have Never Heard Anyone Say It Smells But I Don't Wanna Take Any Chances.
Answer:
The smell and taste of the nether regions varies from woman to woman. It is sometimes described as a musty or musky but a vagina quite frankly smells like a vagina. Clearly it isn't supposed to smell like flowers or strawberries.
Let's start with the obvious.... Are you showering or bathing regularly? If the answer is no then stop reading we've located the problem.
Infections
Some infections in the vaginal area, such as bacterial vaginosis can give your down under a fishy smell. If you find yourself asking "Is it low tide?" and you haven't recently been fishing, then I would suggest following up with a heath care provider.
Sweat and Urine oh my...
If you suffer from swamp ass or in this case swamp vulva it may be the culprit. Think about how your pits smell after sweating. If you notice that you are sweating you can rinse off or try using a baby wipe. (there are specific feminine hygiene wipes as well).
If your urine usually has a strong odor it may be causing a little funk down there as well. Remember the urethra lives pretty close to the vagina. Have you ever lived in an apartment building when your neighbors cook really smelly foods?? Well sometimes your urethra can be the smelly neighbor.
DON'T DOUCHE
No matter how bad you think that you smell do not douche. Douching is very bad for the vagina; it can lead to infections because it kills off the good bacteria. The vagina is a delicate eco system, you don't want to kill everything.
Everyone has a unique scent if you are really concerned or you start to notice a really strong odor, I would suggest seeing a health care provider about it.
what is swamp ass/vulva?
ReplyDeleteIt just means when you sweat... like when you butt gets all sweaty when its hot out. Just like your butt can get hot and sweaty so can your nether regions
ReplyDeleteI've heard that eating pineapple can make it smell / taste sweeter down there.. any truth to that?
ReplyDeleteNutrition can play a part in taste and smell but there isn't any hard evidence. This sort of thing isn't something that scientists dedicate their lives to. Suggestions are to stay away from asparagus and coffee and try sweeter fruit juices like pineapple. If you like pineapple, why not give it a try. IF you really want to know what it tastes like.... try some for your self.
