Plan B, C, D, E and F?

Question:
Is it dangerous to take plan B more than once in a week?

Answer:
Plan B (the morning after pill) is made up of a hefty dose of hormones so it depends on why you want to take it again. If you took Plan B within 120 hours of having unprotected sex then you followed the directions correctly and you have a good chance that you won't become pregnant. I would NOT take it again "just to make sure." However if for some reason you had unprotected sex again after you took the first dose of Plan B then you can take it again but it will cause some abdominal cramping, nausea, possible spotting, irregular period, you make skip a period all together until your system gets back on track and regulated.

Plan B is called Plan B for a reason ... there are a lot of Plan A's that you can use: don't have sex, condoms, birth control pills, diaphragm, IUD, sponge etc... Plan B is not and should not be taken as your only form of birth control. If you are concerned about becoming pregnant please see a doctor and discuss your birth control options, BE PROACTIVE!
